May Day in Assisi is a festival held every first Thursday, Friday and Saturday after May 01st each year to celebrate the coming of the spring. Challenge, to win the Palio, the two parts in which the city is divided, the Noble Upper Part and the Magnificent Lower Part, through the holding of parades in medieval costumes (about the thirteenth century - half of XV century), acted scenes and music performances: to declare the winning part is a jury composed of internationally renowned experts - a historian, a musicologist and a personality of the show business.
